•• Main Window This window is the central window of the EmailTool program. The following describes various components of this window and their function. • Quit Button: This button appearing in the upper left corner of the screen can be used to quit the EmailTool application from inside any application. • Collapse Button: This button appearing in the upper right corner of the screen can be used to reduce the size of the main window to just the title bar hence allowing more of the background to be visible.. • USE SIGNATURE: When the user selects this check box, would cause EmailTool to use the currently selected signature (name shown in the popup menu) to be send when the user clicks the SELECT button. When user deselects this option, no signatures would be used. • Signature Popup Menu: Use this popup menu to quickly and easily choose a different signature or view the currently available signatures. • SELECT Button: After you have made all the necessary changes and are ready to sign your correspondence, simply click this button to tell EmailTool to send the data to the front-most application. • Signature View Button: This button can be used to view the entire text of the currently selected signature. Upon selection, user is presented with a window containing the aforementioned text. If you wish you can make any necessary changes to the text and select the DONE button to save the changes or CANCEL to leave the text unchanged. • Signature Delete Button: If you have previously created a signature you no longer wish to use, click the Delete button to remove it from the popup menu. Please read the earlier sections for more details • SHRINK AFTER SELECTION: This check box allows you to shrink the main window after each selection. The next time you wish to view or edit preferences simply expand the main window by using the expand button described earlier. • RANDOM SIGNATURES: If this check box is selected, EmailTool will randomly select one of the signatures from the popup menu when you click the select button. • RANDOM QUOTES: If this check box is selected, EmailTool will randomly select one of the quotes available in the database when you click the select button. • Button Name Display: This portion of the main window displays the name of the button the mouse cursor currently is pointing to.
